Anderson Parent Council

About APC

The primary purposes of APC are to enhance academic excellence at Anderson School, to provide support for staff, to promote cooperation between home and school, and to help provide good communication between parents, staff, the Anderson School Board and the community. APC is open to everyone in the Anderson community!

What does APC do?

APC coordinates a variety of fun and fundraising activities and events throughout the year.  Participation in APC is an excellent opportunity for community members to get acquainted with each other while working together in the spirit of fun and community service.

APC is committed to spending funds in ways that directly benefit the students of Anderson School.  In addition to purchasing curriculum-related materials specifically requested by teachers and staff, APC monies have contributed to technology systems, drama productions, athletics, safety and playground equipment, artist-in-residence programs, and the 8th grade trip to Washington, DC.  APC fund requests are evaluated according to specific criteria and approved through general APC vote.
